Energy conservation, cat style

Friends and fans of the sanctuary cats have wondered how the cats manage in warm weather like we had over the weekend.

Staff keep an eye on them, with Doug putting out a water mister in the courtyard and med staff making sure older or weaker cats are getting enough fluids. For most of the cats, though, energy conservation is the key to beating the heat. And so there's a whole lot of sprawling going on.

  2. Love the cat sprawl in the summer heat, quite a sight to see - looks like a giant cat slumber party.
