RAPS is short for Regional Animal Protection Society, a registered charity and operator of a sanctuary which houses and cares for nearly 500 homeless or abandoned cats in Richmond, BC, Canada. The Neko Files is a celebration of the sanctuary and all those who live and work there.

brief holiday break

Hello all,

The Neko Files will be taking a short break this week to recuperate from a hectic lead up to Christmas. Next post will be on Monday, January 2, 2012.

Boxing Day photo -- Leo employing cat logic: 
He vigorously resists crating, 
wails all the way in the car to Victoria
and wails all the way back. 
After an hour or two at home, 
he voluntarily climbs back into his crate 
and curls up for a nap.
He doesn't feel there's anything odd in this.

    He's a good boy and so much fun to have around.
