Fraser

Fraser was found as a young cat on the banks of the Fraser River, and was named accordingly.

He developed leukemia and so lives in the Old AIDS building at the cat sanctuary.

Brigid once described Fraser to me as a friendly cat who liked a bit of fussing (particularly when treats were involved) but wasn't interested in getting quite close enough to be part of the Panther, Jeremy and Jasper lap pile. Now she says he's no longer just a "a-paws-up-but-no-further guy" and has joined the cuddle brigade.

  1. Not sure who I thought he was one day but I absentmindedly picked him up.
Much to both our surprises he decided it was ok to be picked up and hugged for a little while. He's really really nice.

  2. RIP, Fraser - so sad to lose the last of my original Old Aids lap-pile. I'm sure Jeremy, Jasper and Panther were waiting for you
